Spinach Dhal (Dhal With Keerai)

Ingredients


  • Keerai Chopped.......................2cups
  • Cooked Moong Dhal................3cups
  • Chili Powder.............................1tsp
  • Asfetida..................................a pinch
  • Mustard Seeds.........................1tsp
  • Cumin Seeds............................1tsp..
  • Salt to Taste
Method
  • Wash the keerai and chop into small pieces.
  • Cook the keerai with little water.
  • Grind coarsely in blender.
  • Add the ground keerai into dhal.
  • Add turmeric chili powder and salt.
  • Boil the dhal and mix it well.
  • Heat  pan with oil add cumin seeds and mustard seeds.
  • When the mustard seeds splutter add to the dhal.
  • It is very good for kids(You can skin chili powder)
